Company Overview:
Our client provides critical infrastructure in the aviation industry delivering high-impact projects that ensure the efficiency, safety, and reliability of aviation networks. With annual capital expenditures reaching hundreds of millions of dollars, the commitment to excellence and sustainability drives them to seek passionate professionals who thrive in managing large-scale projects.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing large-scale, critical infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines, focusing on enhancing network efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk management strategies and mitigation plans, with a keen understanding of the impact on day-to-day operations as the available 'downtime' to implement changes is minimal.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met and promptly addressing issues or delays that may impact infrastructure operations.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve challenges related to network reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle, particularly those affecting aviation infrastructure resilience.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financials.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing leadership and guidance to project team members.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferable.
- Proven experience (minimum 7 years) as a Project Manager in large-scale critical infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to high-budget projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing stakeholder expectations in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring alignment with overarching strategies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining infrastructure resilience strategies, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with network security principles and compliance requirements for critical infrastructure.

Benefits:
- Long-term contract role
- $1,100 daily rate
- Ability to work on a number of large and varied capex budgeted projects
