Manager - Advisory & Strategy

  • 12 month fixed term contract (review to turn permanent)
  • Flexible remote working across Sydney

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering:

  • Oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for Focus 3 initiatives.
  • Act as finance lead for M&A due diligence, integration, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Ensure accuracy of M&A dashboard and acquisition financials.
  • Support new Group POC and Capex initiatives
  • Bridge Go-to-Market (GTM) and divisional financial performance, identifying risks/opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Cost to Serve/Grow models.
  • Manage financial risks and opportunities.

Planning & Analysis:

  • Consolidate financial data for Group reporting (Focus 3, M&A, GTM, Capex).
  • Support budgeting, planning, and forecasting for GTM and M&A.
  • Analyze pipeline and sales metrics to enhance performance.
  • Play a key role in strategic planning for M&A and GTM.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Deliver high-quality reporting, insights, and scenario analysis.
  • Utilize visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for financial storytelling.
  • Present analysis in clear, actionable formats.
  • Partner with stakeholders to enhance financial understanding.
  • Support M&A integration and post-acquisition reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business; CPA or CA (completed or in progress).
  • 5+ years in finance (corporate or professional services).
  • Expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and business case writing.
  • Experience with Power BI and project management frameworks preferred.
