About the company:
Our client within the education support industry, is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team and to support an esteemed and well-tenured Executive Director. Ideally you will have C-suite experience and will have worked in a varied role previously and supported with board meetings as part of this.
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven EA to provide high-level support and partner with the Director. This role is based in the inner city suburbs, near public transport and requires someone to be in the office five days per week, Monday - Friday.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive and secretariat support directly to the director, but also the executive team on occasion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Provide Board and Chair support when required, preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing materials.
  • Assist the Director with the preparation of reports, briefing papers, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Manage the flow of information to and from the department, ensuring timely progression of projects.
  • Work with the department-wide project team on process improvements when required. 
  • Take the lead in organising committee meetings by creating agenda, minutes and action item follow up.
About You:
  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or high level PA support/project management.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with senior leaders and external parties.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work onsite in the inner city, five days per week.
