Multiple Inbound Call Centre Operator roles (x4) – NSW Government
• Paramatta Location
• Initial 6-Month Contract – Possible Extension
• $34.01 P/H + Super
• 35 hours P/W - 7 hrs P/D on a Rotating Roster (between 7am and 7pm)
• Start Date: 28/06/2024
NSW Government Agency is looking for multiple Call Centre Operators on a contract basis to provide support services to facilitate the operation of the department. Successful candidates will need to be able to work within a high volume, high pressure and constantly evolving contact centre environment.
The Role:
• Provide consistent high-quality customer service by interpreting and resolving first-contact enquiries from internal customers and external customers.
• Maintain accurate records and databases in the inhouse software systems.
• Receive inbound calls, obtain necessary information and utilise generalist knowledge to transfer customers to appropriate contact centre specialists in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.
• Liaise with customers the up-to-date practices and procedures within the department.
• Other administrative duties as required.
Skills/Experience:
• 2-3 years’ experience in a call centre or customer service role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous gov experience is preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams
• Specific software will be taught however contractors need to be technically savvy and can pick up systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment
• The successful contractors will be working on a 7am-7pm rotating roster Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays (work the same shift for a 4 week period and then transition into another shift).
