- $50 - $55 per hour + Super
- 2 Month Contract Role
- Local Council - Western Sydney
Based in the Western suburbs, this local government authority are looking to engage an experienced Grants Officer to assist the Council on grants management and administration.
Role:
- Provide advice, support, and expertise to Council staff for effective grants management.
- Develop and enhance grants opportunities for the Council.
- Manage stakeholder relationships for grants-related functions.
- Quarterly reporting on grants funding and oversee cross-functional grants programs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and promote the organization’s goals.
Requirements:
- Certificate, Advanced Certificate, or Diploma in Administration or related field, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in grants programs or project administration.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to support a wide range of customers at all organizational levels. (Desirable: Experience with corporate computer systems, understanding of grant funding criteria, and Class C driver’s license.)
