An experienced Payroll Officer min of 5 years’ experience in payroll processing overseeing the payroll function for ANZ through an outsource provider, 12-month contract.

Global IT consultancy firm who are dynamic and growing organization committed to a diverse working culture. A detailed-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer is required to join their team and oversee the payroll function for AU and NZ employees through an external payroll service provider.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the outsource payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll

Prepare and review payroll reports

Vendor management

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.

Manage employee deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.

Maintain payroll records and ensure the timely submission of reports.

Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.

Process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other employee changes.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll operations.

Stay updated with payroll regulations and industry best practices.

Assist employees with payroll related inquiries.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Payroll Officer

Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and statutory regulations.

Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Familiarity with timekeeping systems and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
